Steve Parrott


Steve leads and supports the team, bringing with him valued experience from his previous role with RBLI as Head of Welfare and the STEP-IN program. Steve is a veteran himself having completed a career with the 2nd Battalion The Parachute Regiment which included active service ranging from Northern Ireland to Afghanistan. During his final years in uniform, Steve served as the Unit Welfare Officer and was responsible for looking after serving soldiers and families as well as ensuring a smooth transition for all Wounded Injured and Sick personnel (WIS) leaving the forces.



Nigel has been a part of the Lifeworks team since April 2017 and is now responsible for all training delivery and employment support to our veterans through the program. Prior to his role at RBLI, Nigel served as a police officer with the last three years concentrating on the foundation training and development of new police recruits. Since joining the Lifeworks team, Nigel has been fortunate to experience first-hand the success of attending veterans and understands the value they bring to the work place.

Kirstie harriman


Kirstie’s role involves engaging with new employers, training bodies and work placement providers to find suitable opportunities for our delegates. Drawing upon her previous experience as an Employment & Education Advisor in the military charity sector, Kirstie identifies suitable roles for our veterans and their families. Kirstie is also working towards her Level 6 in Careers Advice and Guidance though the Open University.

Stephanie is our newest addition to the Lifeworks team, as our Employment Advisor.
Coming from a rich background in marketing and communication, Stephanie can pull from her marketing skills to handle all that the advisor role brings. She has also been fortunate to work with LW within RBLI and witness first hand the value of the support we offer. Also experiencing living within a military family environment, she can fully understand the position a lot of our ‘Lifeworkers’ come from.

 mArk clifford


Mark is an experienced Trainer and Coach helping veterans get back into work through delivery of our courses. Prior to this, Mark spent many years managing talent through the various stages of recruitment so can share his experience of this process to help prepare CVs and for different types of interview. Mark also uses his experience to teach leadership and management skills which helps support veterans through the changes and self-efficacy that will deliver their employment goals.

MAtt rye


Matt is an experienced trainer with a background predominantly in the public sector delivering on a number of topics including leadership and management development, dealing with change, behavioural skills and, in the NHS, was a trained assessor for recruitment centres for managers. Additionally, Matt has worked with people dealing with long term unemployment as well as those facing restructuring and the threat of job loss, helping them to look at their skills and to help them be able to put those to the fore through both job application and interview processes.
