Royal British Legion Industries (RBLI)’s award-winning Lifeworks programme is proud to announce a new partnership with Walking With The Wounded (WWTW). Through this collaboration, WWTW will formally refer eligible beneficiaries to Lifeworks courses as part of their professionally informed recovery pathway.

Lifeworks will now operate as an integrated part of WWTW’s support pipeline, offering tailored employability support for veterans, by veterans. The partnership strengthens both organisations’ commitment to delivering tailored, veteran-first support that empowers individuals to rebuild confidence and re-enter the workforce.

“Employment is a vital part of recovery and long-term stability,” said Steve Parrott, former Parachute Regiment and Head of Lifeworks at RBLI. “We’re proud to be working hand-in-hand with WWTW to ensure veterans receive the right support at the right time, whether that’s through vocational assessments, bespoke life skills modules, or practical job search tools.”

The collaboration will begin with a six-month pilot, focusing on veterans in the South of England. The intention is to roll out the model nationally, creating a permanent referral pathway for those who are wounded, injured, or sick.

“There’s a real need for clearer pathways across the military charity sector,” said Tommy Watson, Director for Veterans’ Affairs at WWTW. “This partnership is a step toward that, bringing tailored employment support into a wider rehabilitation pathway, in a way that truly serves veterans.”
